Emergency First Aid Course
A course took place in April a further course is taking place on
Saturday 29th June.
9.30 to 1 pm approx
at Kencot Village Hall
The course will be run by Oxfordshire First Aid.
The course will cover
Communication and casualty care Looking after yourself and the casualty
Adult, child, and infant resuscitation Treatment of severe bleeding and chest pain
Treatment of a choking casualty Treatment of an unconscious casualty
How to use a defibrillator
The course is not a nationally accredited course but will be aimed at members of the public to give skills and confidence should they ever need to use first aid. This means that people who attend will not hold a first aid qualification which would be recognised in their workplace.
Each person attending the session would get a certificate of attendance along with a first aid manual and CPR face shield key chain.
