Kencot and District Voices
Kencot and District Voices meet in the Autumn and the Summer. We perform at the Summer Fun Dun Day in August, and also the Kencot Christmas concert. There are (roughly) 6-8 rehearsals each term. These take place on Saturday mornings This is a free activity. All people are welcome to come along. You don’t have to have previous experience of singing in a group. or need to be able to read music. |
Jay has signed up the Kencot and District Voices and the Lechlade Voices to take part in the World Jubilee song for the Platinum Jubilee Celebrations It should be a very special time as voices across the world sing the same song at exactly the same time! We will be joined by the Lechlade Occasional Choir for this occasion.
Please come and sing with us: We hope many of you will come and sing with us for this one-off event. We will be learning the new Jubilee Song, plus three other songs with a relevant theme. You don't need to read music nor have any previous choir experience. Everyone is welcome (no auditions) The songs will be taught by rote with word sheets, but there will be music available for those who would prefer it.
